Who we are

WK Detailing is a car detailing and powder coating business based at Unit 3A, Langley Farm Industrial Estate, Birmingham Rd, Bishopton, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0RN. What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our quote form, by phone, email or WhatsApp, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, the service you're interested in, your message and any photos you send.

We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not track you across websites and does not collect personal information – it only counts page views and basic technical data such as browser type and country.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out the work you book, and contact you about that work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract. We may keep basic records for accounting purposes where the law requires it.

We never sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with services that help us run the website and respond to you:

• Cloudflare – hosts this website and provides cookie-free visit statistics.
• Web3Forms – delivers messages sent through our quote form to our email inbox.
• WhatsApp, phone and email providers – if you choose to contact us that way.

These providers process data on our behalf and are required to keep it secure. Some of them may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own and doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, so we don't show a cookie banner. Our fonts are hosted on our own server. The map on our contact section is only loaded if you click Show map; at that point Google Maps loads and Google may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address – see Google's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to work we carry out are kept for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred. To make a request, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
